1.1 TRAINING AND SUPERVISION: POLICIES & PROCEDURES

FERA has a documented training procedure and regularly reviews training quality to ensure training is relevant, appropriate, effective and provides evidence of competency.

 

All staff, including temporary personnel, are trained and supervised commensurate with their activity prior to starting work.

1.1.1b TRAINING PROCEDURE INCLUDING RULES FOR PERSONAL HYGIENE, HEALTH SCREENING & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & REFRESHER TRAINING SCHEDULES

All staff and visitors are provided with a training program commensurate to their activity.


An individualised tailored learning and training program is then jointly set up with the candidate with some mandatory components, recommended components and desired components.

1.1.2a HOUSEKEEPING CHECKS TO ENSURE STAFF ARE COMPETENT TO PERFORM THE ALLOCATED AND ASSIGNED TASKS

As part of the opening checks the duty manager is responsible in ensuring the staff, whether permanent or temporary, are trained commensurate with their activity prior to starting work.


View housekeeping checks relating to ensuring activities are commensurate to training.


 
1.1.2b TEMPORARY PERSONNEL

Temporary personnel are trained commensurate with their activity prior to starting work. Records are kept and stored on the company intranet.


 
1.1.4 SUPERVISION REQUIREMENTS AND RECORDS

All personnel are either adequately trained or adequately supervised throughout the working period.


All Production sheets must record the name of the supervisor, in some cases this may the same as the Production personel. The supervisor must ensure all members are adequately trained.
